Hon Kit, Lam is the Senior Director of IP Product Management & Development, Global IP and VPN Services for Tata Communications, a member of the $62.5 billion Tata Group. With over 18 years experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly in product management and product development for IP, IPVPN and data services, Lam is responsible for IP Product management and development on the Wholesale IP, Internet Leased Line/Dedicated Internet Access as well as Content Distribution Network Services globally.

Before joining Tata Communications, Mr. Lam worked with Asia Netcom (now PacNet), Wharf T&T and Reuters in product development and management role for IP and data services.  He actively participated in next generation technology evaluation for various services and platforms to develop network services on IP, VPN, Remote Access and Satellite Broadcast Services.  Mr. Lam holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Hong Kong.
